Response of the Parents Forever Program Model for Center for Disease Control (Non Communicable Diseases) Response of the Parents Forever Program Model for Center for Disease Control (Non Communicable Diseases)
I fully agree with this program. This is mainly because the listed non communicable illnesses have in some way been overlooked owing to the fact that they cannot be spread from one individual to the other. As such, those diseases that can be passed through vectors or other means have been given more focus. However, the non communicable diseases continue to create a great burden among the different communities. Thus, coming up with a model to deal with the causes, prevention and the effects of these diseases will bring about a significant change among those affected.
The model is well planned. It is because the goals have been reasonable stated and divided into appropriate categories. This will enable the model to be implemented in a step by step basis while focusing on attainable objectives. It will thus be easy to meet the objectives successfully.
The strongest component of this model is the idea to involve the members of the community entirely. What was not recognized initially is the fact that they form part of the significant stakeholders in disease control and prevention. They are also the most affected. They will be in a position to get educated and made aware about the causes, prevalence and the ill effects of these diseases. With this, they will be more careful with their lifestyles and reduce the chances of infection.
With proper assessment and the integration of the concerned parties the model will not only reduce the prevalence of these diseases, but also reduce their occurrence significantly.
