Land Assemblage Problem Affiliation Economically, there is a very clear difference between buildings that are on undeveloped land and those that are on the developed land. This essay aims at bringing a clear illustration of how the buildings that are built on undeveloped land differ with those that are built on developed land. As well, the essay will also discuss the land assemblage problems and how they relate to the outcomes. Lastly, all the contradictions between the goals of urban renewal land all the related outcomes will be clearly discussed.
Notably, undeveloped land has been clearly proven by the studies that it does not offer preparation for building a home. On the other hand, developed land provides a preparation for building a home due to fewer expenses that are incurred (Levy, 2013). Additionally, access is a major problem on the undeveloped land because building requires a clear area that would give a conducive environment that has enough space. Contrary, on the undeveloped land, inadequate infrastructure has caused a lot of hindrances when construction is in progress.
Land assembly refers to combining contiguous lots with an aim of making one large parcel while urban renewal entails the restoration of major areas within a large town, characteristically comprising the cleaning of slums. Notably, there is a relationship between the land assemblage problem and urban renewal (Levy, 2013). The major problem lead by bringing pieces of land into a common parcel is constantly putting together land parcels for an assemblage has been is refusal of a land owner to sell at the market value, holding out for a better price. Hence, the problem may lessen the hold out the owner to raise the cost land in urban to the buyers.
The contradiction between goals of uniformity more so, the anonymity of the buildings has greatly contributed to a reason for the inadequate social control and social integration this being one of the fundamental goal while encouraging urban renewal (Levy, 2013)
