Mobilization Tactics Introduction Mobilization is making people ready or active for something. The people involved need to be mote organize so as to undertake the task at hand. The main purpose of mobilization is achieving behavior change and proper attitude on something. The techniques and tactics include the following.
Tactical mapping of something. Individuals need to identify the nature and the extent of the problem which needs to be solved so as to be aware of how to approach it. After that, the individuals need to know the best method to solve the matter amicably.
The use of media for creating awareness among people. When mobilizing individuals, they have to be informed of what is happening and what needs to be done and this it greatly achieved through the use of print and electronic media. It is the fastest tool of spreading messages to people and therefore the specific agenda to be addressed is easily met.
The use of campaign activists. Volunteers play a great role in mobilizing individuals on something. Their work is to influence the peers in communities in order to be in agreement with what is to be undertaken by the rest of the people. They can achieve this by doing in-house parties or through community events, internet messaging and flyers.
Use of mass meetings. These include rallies, peaceful demonstrations and matches normally done among or near people. The aim is to let the people know and even involve them in the issue. In this technique of mobilization, talks are encouraged so as to solve conflicts that may have risen among members of the community.
The following additional tactics mobilizes people to join a cause on something. The use of encouraging campaigns is a major tactic. This makes people more active because they know that the campaign will be fruitful.
The use of social media. This tactic achieves a fast and an easier way to influence mobilize individuals to do something. This is because most people use digital forms of communication like social sites such as sype, twitter and face book. Individuals tend to insight others towards the cause of action and therefore most people fall victims due to the curiosity created.
Mass organization of people. Many people involved in doing something largely influence them fight against an issue as compared to few people who will flee due to fear of being caught and punished by authorities.
National coalitions and states play the following roles in mobilizing people to take action on something. Encouragement of polite interaction among the individuals involved in the action. It is the duty of the state and those in authorities to preach peace and reconciliation among its citizen especially when conflicts arise. In order to settle problems, the state encourages peaceful talks among all members of the society
Mobilization of resources among people. It is upon the state to ensure that individuals in the communities have what they need for the to operate. Lack of such recourses by individuals could be a source of problems among themselves.
